RETScreen® – The Renewable Energy Screening Tool

RETScreen® is free, Windows-based software distributed by the Renewable Energy Decision Support Centre of Canada. This powerful tool will help you evaluate energy production, cost savings, and payback periods for various renewable energy technologies, including:

	•	Wind energy
	•	Photovoltaics
	•	Solar water heating
	•	Passive solar
	•	Ground source heating and cooling
	•	Biomass (wood) heating

RETScreen includes access to online information about renewable energy products and worldwide weather data. It currently has over 25,000 users in more than 190 countries.

Renewable2English™ -- an easy-to-use metric converter

RETScreen is a metric-only product whose results can be hard to interpret for users who normally work with English units. To help these users, we have created Renewable2Engish™ software.

Renewable2English works with RETScreen Version 2000 to return results in easy-to-interpret English units. You'll avoid the inconvenience of converting RETScreen results by hand. R2E performs this step automatically. Productive Energy Solutions offers R2E free of charge as a courtesy to our customers.
