Automatic English Units Conversion
Productive Energy Solutions created Renewable2English™ software to translate metric
RETScreen® Version 2000 results into easy-to-understand English units. R2E gives you the ability to revise
your project parameters by entering new values in English units, which are then automatically converted to Metric
units. These revised values are then fed back to the RETScreen program to obtain new results.

In the sample shown in the screenshot, the converted value from the solar hot water RETScreen model
shows a value of 91.49 gallons per day of hot water load. In order to see how the results will change if the hot
water load is lower, the user has entered 80 gallons per day into the tan cell. The green cell shows that the metric
equivalent is 306 liters per day, which is the value that would then automatically be fed back to the RETScreen model
by Renewable2English.
Sample Output File for a Solar Hot Water Project
This sample output file will show you how R2E software works. It gives the results of using
RETScreen and Renewable2English to analyze a solar hot water heating project design. The results are displayed in
easy-to-understand English units. The sample is a compressed (WinZip) Excel file.
